Ffynnon Ddofn is six miles from the city of St. David’s, a village complete with cathedral, the Bishops Palace archeological ruins, Lifeboat Station, restaurants, pubs and craft shops.

There are safe sandy beaches with rock pools, never crowded even at peak season, good surfing, windsurfing, sailing, fishing and pony trekking nearby.

 

Aber Felin

Our own local beach, Aber Felin, an interesting rocky cove, can be reached on foot down a quiet, leafy footpath.

The spectacular Pembrokeshire Coastal Path, a short walk from the cottage, follows nearly 200 miles of rugged coastline, sweeping beaches and rolling fields.

The path includes over 50 quality swimming beaches, more than 40 Iron Age promontory forts, Norman castles and historical towns.
